Saffron Walden Open Studios took place over two weekends in June this year, with 17 artists and groups taking part within Saffron Walden itself and in several of the surrounding villages.
Visitors travelled from all over the county to see inside artist’s studios and talk to them about their work, many even buying original pieces as well as prints and cards. There was a diverse range of styles and media used, from ceramics to illustration, printmaking to glass sculptures, all showing what a talented part of the country we are.
Many of the artists have expressed a wish to do this again next year, and we look forward to many more joining us. If you are interested in taking part please contact us at info@saffronwaldenartstrust.co.uk, or watch this space for dates and details in early 2014.
