The Curwen Print Study Centre was established as an educational Fine Art Printmaking charity in the late 1990s. It is an educational Fine Art Printmaking charity formed in the 1990s and now firmly established with a reputation for excellence in its field. The course programme offers something for everyone regardless of age or ability. Schools, students and teachers, visit from across the region encouraged by both enrichment and higher exam grades.
Our highly successful education programme involves school students from Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. The majority of schools re-book each year, encouraged by the higher grades that they subsequently achieve at GCSE, AVCE, IB, AS and A2. The content can be adapted to suit all ability levels from the least able to the most gifted and talented students looking for enrichment and extension.
The aim of The Study Centre is to preserve and develop the essential experience and skills that underpin the concept of the artist’s original print.
