A short talk on how a mystery exposed a passion for the crafting and music of Cigar Box Guitars and live music from ‘Moonshine Coyote’

Jiff’s introduction to Cigar Box Guitars began with curiosity and developed into crafting guitars that the band ‘Moonshine Coyote’ perform with,  just cigar box guitars!

A short talk on how a mystery exposed a passion within me for the crafting and music of cigar box guitars.

Jiff Godfrey, known by some for the crafting of Cigar Box guitars and for some as lead guitar and vocalist for ‘Moonshine Coyote’. A local guy, raised and educated in the area, he has spent most of his adult life living and working around the Saffron Walden area,  now as a teacher and previously as a Youth Worker for over 25 years with in the Uttlesford locality.

Sculptor Ian Wolter talks about his work @ online

Saffron Walden Arts Trust is offering you a chance to escape for an hour to the world of award-winning local sculptor, Ian Wolter. He will talk about his work, and the project which resulted in the Children of Calais sculpture, currently located in Dorset House Gardens (off Church Street). Finally, we will be given an exclusive peep into other sculpture projects which have emerged as a result of the Children of Calais. Join us for talk and virtual studio visit to find out more.

Ian Wolter is an artist who lives and works in Saffron Walden. Known for the diversity of his work, he has exhibited internationally, and is a recipient of the RomArt Sculpture Prize, Rome 2017; the Arte Laguna Prize, Venice 2016; and the Global Sustainability Art Prize, Cambridge 2015
